C.S. Lewis Festival Writing Project
This year the fourth grade students at Petoskey schools will participate in the C.S. Lewis Festival Writing Project. This writing project happens in the fourth grade classrooms, with students learning more about C.S. Lewis, reading and some of his writings, and writing their own essays in response to prompts connected to what they have learned.
The most exciting element of this writing project is that selected students will be invited to read their piece before an audience, and will be published in the Petoskey News Review. This is an amazing opportunity for young people to showcase their writing talents, and there is no other opportunity quite like this.
Over the next few weeks, we will update you on how this is progressing, and when you can join us to hear our young authors share their work. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's teacher directly.
